Thanks for checking out the NPC website… I want to personally welcome you to North Park Church online. You might have noticed our theme is “intentionally different”. At NPC we are not trying to be like the church down the street. We hope to accomplish our God given purpose and mission- and that means doing church a little differently than you might expect. Whether it’s the music, the message or the multimedia- we want it to be real. And we want to be real. No faking it here. So come on in… relax and be yourself. See and experience the intentional difference of NPC.

Why is North Park here? With a church on every corner thats a good question. You have to have a purpose or there's no reason to exist. North Park offer's the real thing, with real answers, for real people with in a real experience. We are seeking to be authentic.

What is North Park all about? What North Park is not about is organized religion. NP is all about people coming together to worship and grow together. Who is at home at North Park? People who want real answers to life’s toughest questions. North Park is affiliated with the Southern Baptist denomination. We are, however, an autonomous Church growing with people from many different faith backgrounds

PASTOR LYN HANSEN'S BIO

Lyn Hansen is lead pastor at NPC. Lyn has been married to Sandy since 1980. Sandy is general manager of VVS a food service business and an active part of NPC- Columbus. Lyn and Sandy have 4 children. Lyn has been in pastoral ministry for 2 decades and was a professional in the transportation industry in his previous career.

PASTOR RYAN YOUNG'S BIO

Pastor Ryan is pastor of worship and arts at North Park. He was born in Portland, OR. Married Ciana on June 1st 2002. Pastor Ryan & Ciana have a son named Briston. Accepting Christ at the age of 19 Pastor Ryan dedicated his life to Him a couple of years later. He started playing the guitar at the age of 18 which led to him using his God Gift to worship at a various of churches. Which included a 2 year period at Morningside Community Church in Southwest Kansas.

"I came to North Park because God laid a calling on my heart to work together in bringing about a great understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God stirred a desire in my heart to work with Pastor Lyn & go to a place where God was bringing about healing & change in me. I have since met many of the Church Family & have come to love & appreciate this Body of Christ" -Pastor Ryan

Pastor Brian Magargal

Pastor Brian is campus pastor at North Park Church Fremont. Brian was born in Philadelphia PA and lived there until moving to Charleston SC after his sophomore year of high school. Brian completed a three year apprenticeship at Robert Bosch Corporation, graduating with a department of labor certificate in tool and die as well as an associate’s degree in Industrial Technology. He has worked in manufacturing maintenance for over twenty years. Brian has one son Daniel who is 19 and working as a welder.

Brian has been mentoring with Pastor Lyn over the last three years and is engaged in Bible College for pastoral ministries “I was called by the Lord to the pastorate about three years ago but I just recently decided to step up in 2012 and go all in sharing my calling with Pastor Lyn and then the Church. I have had the pleasure of leading our Celebrate Recovery Ministry with the help of an incredible team for the last three years. I have also been involved with the youth here at North Park teaching sixth grade thru high school Bible class for a few years. Through a growing relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ and taking advantage of the many discipleship resources North Park Church has to offer, I have truly experienced Freedom, Release, Recovery and a changed life!”
